The Watcher

I am drawn to inanimate objects that, through certain features, seem to take on a personality all their own. They can almost become characters in some story, and I enjoy the challenge of crafting a scene that will help bring that narrative to life. This weather-beaten warrior of a tree was asking for just such a story.
