HILL COUNTRY GLOW

While visiting some good friends one summer evening, we went for a walk on a piece of land they had just purchased to one day build their dream house. The beautiful colors of a hill country sunset were all around, and I was fortunate enough to get a photo of the light peaking through this tree.  It turned out to be a great reference for the painting, which, interestingly enough, has been confused with a photo, even though I was going for a looser style!   –SOLD–
