“Sendero Sunrise” Giclee Canvas Print

Although the majority of my work is self-conceived, I have had the opportunity to take commissions from time to time. “Sendero Sunrise” is an example of a commission where the buyer had a good idea of what they wanted from the beginning and were able to describe their vision before I began.  “Sendero” means trail or path, and this sunrise rendezvous between a buck and his doe made for a striking scene. I chose a heavier-weave canvas, and while it made capturing detail more of a challenge, it also gave the final a nice tactile, rustic feel.

This print is created on unmounted Crystalline gloss canvas by Breathing Color. It is OBA free making it one of the most archival gloss canvas available to date.
